I'm excited to announce the release of Quotes 1.2.0, the latest update focused on bringing you more colorful and customizable quote images.
New Background option - Just Color
In addition to the existing options of random gradients, transparent backgrounds, and customized pictures, you can now pick any color you like as the background for your quote images. This gives you even more creative freedom to express your style and mood.
Inspector sidebar - Closer Customization
I've introduced a brand-new inspector sidebar that allows you to personalize your quote images right next to the canvas. This makes the customization process smoother and more intuitive. It's worth noting that the customization options in the app settings are now for setting your default preferences. You can save your favorite configurations as the default, then easily tweak them on a case-by-case basis using the sidebar.
Under the Hood Improvements - Steady Win
While the new features mentioned above are the main highlights, I've also been working hard on various small experience improvements and bug fixes. These changes may not be immediately noticeable, but you'll likely feel the app running faster and smoother.
Additionally, I've invested significant time and effort into enhancing the text engine. This not only ensures performance and future-proofing, but also lays the groundwork for some exciting upcoming features.
